We're staying in the 2008 season for this throwback, with a re-creation of Game 6 of the NBA Finals between the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers. The Celtics entered the game with a 3-2 series lead, as Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen were determined to deliver Boston's seventeenth title with a victory on their home floor. With Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol leading the Lakers however, that task was easier said than done. Of course, in KG's words, anything is possible! Enjoy this clash of perennial rivals, and look out for one of the best NBA commercials of all-time during the halftime break!

The NBA 2K14 Retro Series is a celebration of NBA history, featuring classic matchups and famous games being re-played with the PlayStation 4 version of NBA 2K14. Post-production effects and an era-specific commercial at the half are intended to evoke a feeling of finding an old game on VHS or DVD, and watching an original broadcast on a then-contemporary TV. Games are played with both the original classic teams, and makeshift classic teams created through the game's limited roster editing. Enjoy a window into the NBA's past, via one of the best basketball video games of all-time!
