The Prime Minister's Research Fellows (PMRF) Program is a research fellowship programme established by the Prime Minister. Prime Minister's Research Fellows (PMRF) Scheme, which was announced in the 2018-19 Budget, is intended to improve the quality of research in various higher educational institutions across the country by providing financial assistance to researchers.
All of the IITs, all of the IISERs, the Indian Institute of Science in Bengaluru, and some of the top Central Universities and National Institutes of Technology (NITs) that offer science and/or technology degrees are among the institutions that can offer PMRF.
