September 2020 "the organismic synthesizer" Soma Lyra 8 landed a month ago at the SONICriderSTUDIO.
Since the prior video "Soma Lyra 8 "Discovery" ( • Soma Lyra 8 "Discovery" ) the Lyra 8 was around all the time, learning, searching & enjoying this fine synth... Recorded this piece as a feedback of the journey till now using a lot of feedback "like" noises :-)
My fav moment "20:12" LFO madness into screaming tunes \0/ and 2nd fav momentum "25:20" :-)
Playing the Lyra 8 feels like having a real connection as with a conventional instrument "each movement of the fingers gives an immediately feedback".
As said before:
Although this video doesn't show expert skills it was fun to make it & show some of the Lyra 8 capabilities. This synthesizer will become a welcome travel mate - not only on musical journeys - due to his stand alone possibility.
