Well well well! Look what we have here! (not going to lie, no idea where I was going with that but anyways) Let me ask you a question. Are you operating from victory or for victory? I ask that loaded question because i realized that so much of my hope and what I was looking forward to was for victories to come in the future. I wasn't currently celebrating the victory that I am walking in thanks to Christ. My actions were saying "oh yeah, I know Jesus died for me, but this is what I'm currently struggling with." and then it hit me. Wait a sec. Why did he die for me? To give me life and life abundant. That is something that NO ONE can take away from me. He gave me victory already. I have it. You have it. It's ours. So why are we still living day to day, pay check to paycheck, relationship to relationship hoping to be content in the future when He, the creator of contentment, has already won that for us! We just need to receive it, not achieve it. So I'll ask you in another way... Today, how can you operate from victory instead of for victory.
