Solving for the x-component of a vector

Описание: The way that I demonstrate solving for the vector components is a normed style used in Physics and may be slightly different from a math class setting. For instance, you could have solved for F_x in one step by saying that the angle is 180°-38° =142° , which will produce a negative solution. However, in Physics we may manipulate the setup of our system via Free Body Diagrams, so we solve for the magnitude of the vector component using a given reference angle, and then look to our diagram to determine if the vector component is positive or negative.
