this strawberry cake recipe is inspired by a classic strawberry shortcake, but as you can see I've doubled down on the strawberry and halved the sugar.
not fully a sugar free cake, but it could be without compromising on flavour if that's what you are looking for.
4 whole eggs
1½ cup of milk
2tbsp of melted butter
1tsp of vanilla paste
a pinch of salt
½ cup of sugar
1½ cup of self raising flour
this will make the perfect tea cake and you don't need to feel committed to the cream cheese frosting, you can cover with anything you like, or simply enjoy it with jam and cream.
