Описание: ""Graphing Nagios" This talk will introduce several strategies for exporting, storing, and visualizing time series data from Nagios Core. The first half of the talk will examine four different Nagios-Compatible storage and visualization back-ends (RRDTool, Ganglia, Graphite, and Librato), then discuss the design, architectural limitations, and assumptions made by each. The second half of the talk will cover specific middle-ware options and I/O strategies to get Nagios wired up to each time-series back-end.

Dave Josephsen is the Engineer/Evangelist at Librato and author of the book, Nagios: Building Enterprise-Grade Monitoring Infrastructures for Systems and Networks. At Librato he hacks on tools and documentation, blogs about statistics, systems monitoring, alerting, metrics collection and visualization, and generally does anything and everything he can think of to help engineers close the feedback loop in their systems.
