The Model Y Premium AWD produces 397hp from two electric motors, reaches 0-100 in 4.8s, and returns 600km of WLTP range from a 78.4kWh battery. Starting at €53,970 in Germany with ventilated seats, acoustic glass on every window, ambient lighting, and an 8-inch rear passenger touchscreen as standard.

The real story is the cabin. Noise levels are down roughly 20% across the board, the interior materials are genuinely improved, and the ride quality is noticeably better than the car it replaces. The Skoda Enyaq rides softer for less money. The BMW iX3 offers more range and a sharper chassis for more money. The Model Y sits between them with the Supercharger network, the boot space, and the software ecosystem as its strongest arguments.
