किडनी मरीज़ क्रिएटिनिन और यूरिया ऐसे डाउन करें? | Lower Creatinine and Urea
In this video, Dr Puru Dhawan will talk about creatinine and urea and suggest some tips to lower the values, so watch the video till the end without skipping.
What is urea?
Urea is the waste that the kidneys usually help to filter away. Uremia is a symptom of kidney failure. When the kidneys cannot filter waste properly, it can enter the bloodstream.
What is creatinine?
Creatinine is a chemical waste product in the blood that passes through the kidneys to be filtered and removed through urine. The chemical waste is a by-product of normal muscle function. Therefore, creatinine levels in the blood reflect the amount of muscle a person has and their kidney function.
Tips to control the level of creatinine and urea:
● Avoid the intake of deep-fried items
● Take balanced diet
● Control the protein intake
Further in this video, the fruits that a kidney failure patient should take is explained:
Kidneys are the most important organs of our body, and poor functioning of kidneys leads to kidney failure. The primary goal of a kidney failure diet is to maintain a healthy balance of electrolytes, fluids, and minerals in the body. However, when a person's kidneys are damaged, their creatinine levels and other waste products increase. Therefore, a kidney patient should limit salty foods, control protein consumption, limit potassium-rich foods, and limit fluid intake. Patients with kidney failure require a special diet. Each patient's diet should be adapted depending on whether salt is retained or lost and their serum protein, potassium, and general nutritional status. Limiting what you eat and drink can help maintain kidney function by reducing the workload on your kidneys. Patients with kidney disease should eat a protein-free diet.
Improving proteinuria, controlling blood pressure, and slowing the progression of kidney failure are benefits of a protein-restricted diet. Eggs, seafood, dairy products, and meat are all rich in protein. Switching to a kidney failure diet and doing yoga regularly can help reduce diabetes and blood pressure levels. Kidney failure patients should eat fruits and vegetables with low potassium. Vegetables should be leached to reduce the potassium content. The patient requires restriction. Avocados, dates, bananas, kiwis, high-potassium rooty, and leafy vegetables such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, arbi, beetroot, turnip, spinach, cauliflower, fenugreek, kale, and coriander are high in potassium. Brinjal, tomato, okra, green chili, bottle gourd, bottle gourd, cucumber, peas, parwal, and bitter gourd are all safe to eat. Sodium helps maintain high blood pressure by reducing swelling in the feet, legs, and ankles. Packaged foods, sauces, cheese, soups, popcorn, and salty pickles should also be avoided due to their high sodium levels. Limiting salt in the diet can help patients' kidney function and avoid the need for dialysis or a transplant.
Mr. Shahabuddin is a kidney disease patient, and his creatinine level was 13 mg/dL when he came to the Sai Sanjivani clinic. Due to the small size of the left kidney, he is suffering from kidney disease. Kidney disease and kidney stones worsened Shahabuddin's condition and caused hydronephrosis. His creatinine level increased abruptly from 7.8 mg/dL to 11.8 mg/dL within two days only. Along with high creatinine levels, he had weakness. Within one month of treatment from Sai Sanjivani, his creatinine levels decreased from 13.0 mg/dL to 2.0 mg/dL.
