Описание: This version of Flying Eagle on the Cadillac is reminiscent of the same exercise on Wunda Chair, but uses the Roll Back Bar instead of the pedal to assist in the movement.

Its yet another wonderful way to practice extension within the classical repertoire. There are those who say there is too much flexion in pilates, and therefore we need to change the method to include exercises that were never part of it or what Joe intended. But the truth is, when you know the work, you know of its possibilities ✨

⭐️About Elaine Ewing:
Elaine is owner of Rhinebeck Pilates, and a third generation, certified Authentic Pilates teacher and Certified Teacher of Teachers through the New York Pilates Studio®. Elaine is also the owner of many pieces of original equipment from both Joseph Pilates’ 8th Avenue Studio and Carola Trier’s original studio, all of which can be found within Rhinebeck Pilates.

Elaine teaches classical pilates private sessions and group classes both virtually and in-studio at Rhinebeck Pilates, which has been in business since 2003.

Additionally, Elaine presents workshops with Sean Gallagher that are based on Joseph Pilates’ original method and apparatus. In 2018 Elaine worked alongside with Sean Gallagher to help create the yearly conference at Jacob’s Pillow, Pilates at The Pillow®. They continue to host and teach this yearly conference and that has been the first in the pilates community to present “lost” apparatus and original work. Elaine enjoys researching pilates history and maintains a webpage devoted to openly sharing accurate pilates history titled: Pilates History Research Archive.

Elaine can be found on Pilatesology teaching matwork, Gratz Push Up Devices, Archival Ped-o-Pul, the Resister®, and along with Sean Gallagher, Joe’s Four Original Airplane Boards.
