Solo Master Golgoroth (Warlock) - Destiny 2 Season: Lawless

Описание: A very heavy RNG damage check using chunking. The encounter is simple enough but just needed to get extremely lucky with DPS. From what I’ve gathered high frames makes chunking more “consistent” however I am capped at 60fps. I just wiped a run if I did not get the boss to ~1/2 health after 3 phases.

For add clearing I swapped to Nothing Manacles to add clear quick. You have 5 full phases and barely a 6th DPS phase so fast add clearing can genuinely make or break a run. Just make sure you don’t leave early as the orb (or his shoulder spikes won’t be up). Lastly, make sure you have full glaive charge on Edge of Action to spawn the mini bubble.

Recycled Energy on Mint Retrograde was lovely to get grenades back when swapping loadouts on top of the Scatter Grenades already chaining. Just make sure you don’t use your rift or both melee charges (unless absolutely needed) as the Bray Legacy origin trait on the Eighty-Six sword will recharge those abilities and not your grenade during DPS.

For orb prep, I stood by the close left pillar by the rally flag as this seemed the most consistent for the boss to move over. Aim your nova bomb high so it’s easier to see his feet for chunking (if the nova was aimed low, the colour of the nova bomb’s vortex and the green floor and the green unstable light made it challenging).

Use the mini bubble as cover so the boss doesn’t stomp you or knock you back. Even if the bubble is destroyed you obviously lose the cover but the benefits of the bubble stay i.e. the over shield. Use the sword to time an heavy attack whilst he slams to cancel momentum, or use the light attack to prevent knock back. Even though you have Devour, Echo of Starvation is great for extra survivability in DPS with attrition orbs.

You should be able to throw anywhere between 5-7 grenades and honestly just cross your fingers and pray for good luck!
