Creating a framework for the AI-native telco

Описание: Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) have experienced major advances over the past year, along with a dramatic increase in their usage, application and visibility – generative AI has captured the world’s imagination. But currently, the telecoms industry appears to be approaching the use of AI in an opportunistic fashion and is not yet looking at it in a holistic way, which is likely to raise major challenges and prevent the potential value of AI applications being reached in the long term. So, is the common AI framework and architecture the solution to those challenges? What are the potential implications of such a framework? If not, what steps should the industry take to create a viable framework that will ensure DSPs can benefit from an AI-native transformation? Is there a way to ensure that all these different AI models talk to each other and can be efficiently orchestrated within the network? And would that be beneficial?
