I've started this project back in October 2023 when I first heard this song but I couldn’t get the guitar tone at all. In September this year my friend suggested that they used a bass guitar instead of a regular electric and it was actually spot on. Countless hours of fiddling with effects, pedals, synths and plugins, like a few thousand listens of the original song, and then recording all of this... and this completely from scratch remake of my favorite cyberpunk soundtrack is done! It’s not exactly right but its close enough that I can call it a day for now.
