How to fix a Dewalt DCN701 Cordless staple Gun that is not firing.
It's not often I'm harsh on any tool, but this is the worst built tool iv seen in a long time. The build quality is basicly, non existent.
Tiny over priced motor, total exposed gearbox, wear rails, flimsy probe and a weak body that is clearly not been designed to handle the load from the internal springs.
This one stopped working because the body holding the rails snapped, caused the carrier to push outside wrong way and springs started to push open the body and cause the probe to jam.
worst thing about this stapler is the cost of spare parts.
120 for a motor and 50 for a simple clam shell body, is a joke. and of course this artist likely what will need changed most often.
