So, if your opponent has three, you have two (plus the Plant, making three total) and another opponent has one, then you immediately lose $14 because of the seven total yellow tiles; remembering to lose further money when new yellow tiles are played. Thematically, your plant is purifying for everyone because the water supply is considered shared.
