Here I talk about my own experience with insulin, GLP-1's like Ozempic and oral medications for diabetes like Metformin and Jardiance, and why I am able to take them.

One of the things I also didn't know when I first started taking these medications was why the heck I was actually taking them, and what they did in my body to help regulate my blood sugars.

I explain how these medicines work, and some of the potential side effects.

This should help you understand the perspective of someone living with diabetes and taking these medications.
