A simple, step-by-step walkthrough of how to create 'bandwidth-efficient' off-site backup jobs using BackupAssist for Windows.
Rsync is a free, open source protocol that's integrated within BackupAssist making it considerably more user friendly for the non-technical user or small business.
We usually recommend Rsync jobs for copying lots of small files across a wide area network to a NAS, server or hosted service that supports Rsync.
We do not recommend this type of job for sending large server image files off-site.
