Хабиб Абдулманапович Нурмагомедов AKA Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Justin Gaethje went about as expected, but the story here was "The Eagle", the most fearless yet teachable raptor in all of the animal kingdoms, going out (we assume) as very few have ever done in sports, on top.

Barry Sanders, one of the the most talented and dominant running backs in NFL history walked away from football and never returned. In combat sports, Andre Ward walked away without loss, as did Floyd Mayweather, and Rocky Marciano before him. Regardless of who you pick of those 3, none were as dominant as Khabib.

From the underrated striking, especially defensively, to the greatest all around grappling game in MMA history, we just witnessed something much closer to Michael Jordan in regards legacy. Jon Jones has cheated more times than most can count, and since stricter PED testing has begun he has looked much less dominant than in the Wild Wild West days.
