Union leaders say pay errors persist for Rhode Island state workers

Описание: Friday brought another payday, and persistent payroll problems for Rhode Island state workers, now more than two months after the state launched a new $95 million payroll system.

The leaders of three large state employee unions, who a month ago aired grievances about workers missing pay, told NBC10 Friday there are still mistakes with employees being underpaid for overtime, and in at least one case a worker who wasn’t paid at all.

“It’s very aggravating to say the least. It adds a lot of stress, too, that you have to live with,” Rhode Island Department of Transportation worker Rick Hall told NBC10.
