Описание: Ayyyy it’s been a while! Thanksgiving just passed and for those that celebrate it, I hope you all had an amazing time with family!

I’ve been quite absent for some time now. Have had a lot of stuff come up, personal issues, family issues, work, life, yknow, the usual. Things get busy! And sadly sometimes music becomes one of the last things I’m able to focus on. And sometimes, life can drain you like crazy and you don’t feel like doing ANYTHING! That’s what I’ve been dealing with these past few months honestly. But I’m still here, still trying, still doing what I love no matter what. I’ll never stop making music and art, I love it way too much too ever let it go 😎🙏

BUT ANYWAYS! Man, Kirby 64 has some genuine bangers right???? I like to listen to Kirby soundtracks as I go about my day and this one track just kept playing in the back of my mind. So simple yet so catchy somehow? It’s got this hollow feeling to it, it feels cold, yet plays in an area with a warm tone and aesthetic. It’s very jarring but in the right way. As time went on and I kept coming back to this remaster to work on it, I found that I liked leaning into the “coldness” I kept getting from it. And since December is here, with Christmas around the corner, I deemed it “okay” to sway in that direction 😎

Now, I absolutely adore this song don’t get me wrong, but WHY IS IT SO SHORT!!! It gets super repetitive on consecutive listens… So, as usual, I’ve put the “typho-spin” on it 😈 each loop has a few changes here and there to keep it interesting and alive. And towards the end is where it REALLY starts breathing. The ending sections composition came to me as I was walking, listening to my remaster over and over to find any nails that needed to be hammered down. And when it came to the third loop, all of a sudden my mind started composing this grand section, with brass, choir, bells, and a whole new melody! I was struck by a bolt of creativity…. I opened my voice-notes, started recording, and began singing what I heard in my head so that I don’t forget it! I rushed home, sat down at my desk, and started composing. It just flowed so perfectly. It all came together like the missing piece of the “Quiet Forest Puzzle”. So over about a month I kept going back and forth, adding, removing, fixing, tweaking, and eventually came to the result you’re hearing now!

Now, the art section. Gosh I struggled HARD with the art. I didn’t realize how burnt out I could get from drawing trees so frequently. I just did “Secret of the Forest” from Chrono Trigger, and I put my ALL into those trees. And then I had “Paradise, Paradise” from Deltarune with the palm trees, (arguably much simpler BUT U GET THE IDEA! 🤬). And now this thumbnail… I was like, bro…. MORE TREES?!?!? I feel like I JUST DREW SO MANY AUGHHHH 😫 So…. I decided to work smarter, not harder, and I simplified the art style VERY heavily from what I usually do. For the whole piece actually. I didn’t want to feel like this thumbnail was a chore, so I dialed back the detail, gave it a more smoother look, and slapped some noise filters on it to give it a more “retro” look. I hope it turned out good! Because honestly…. (It ain’t my best work 😪)
