Thern's Liberty Series Portable Capstan Winch is an extremely portable winch that offers 1000 lbs of capacity and is easy to install and maintenance free. It is designed to work with ½ - ¾ inch rope.
This capstan winch is great for a long list of applications where it’s portability, small size, and easy installation are ideal. It is perfect for elevator shaft and cell tower construction projects for example.
The electric motor offers quiet operation making jobsite communication easier and increasing productivity. The Liberty series also includes an Integral Rope Keep, Integral Rope Grab, and foot switch controlled operation to increase safety and productivity and prevent unintentional drops.
The winch is made with an enclosed motor housing, powder-coat finish, and corrosion resistant components to ensure dependable operation for many years.
