#60 "Pretty In Pink" - Pink Base Dutch Pour with Teal and Magenta - Acrylic Pouring - Fluid Art

Описание: I had a viewer request a pink based dutch pour. I am so glad she did; the pink base is so soft and gorgeous. I think this turned out so beautiful with all the metallic paint and iridescent white. The cellular reaction I got in this painting was amazing. Each cell has several colors in it, BEAUTIFUL, and it has tons of shimmer. I used similar colors to the gray based dutch pour (showed at the end of this video) but the difference in the two are night and day. It is amazing how you can use the same colors or similar colors and get completely different results. This is one reason I love fluid art.

Colors used:
Base: White mixed with a little Permanent Red Purple - Both Amsterdam to make light pink
Teal - Golden
Pewter - Deco Art
Metallic Cobalt Blue - Artist's Loft
Iridesent Pearl - Modern Master
Deep Magenta - Artist's Loft

Pouring Medium:
I used American floetrol and water. The amount of floetrol and water depends on the paint brand. With the Golden and Amsterdam paints I used approximately 3/4 parts floetrol and 2/3 parts water to 1 part paint. These brands can handle more pouring medium because they have a higher pigment than other brands. You can actually add more of floetrol and water if needed.
Deco Art paints and Artist Loft, in my experience, can only be mixed about half and half paint to pouring medium. If you add to much floetrol and/or water you lose the color.
I have only used Modern Master a couple of times and not with floetrol and water. I mixed it approximately 3 parts floetrol and 1 part water to the paint. I just made sure the consistency was the same as the other paints I used. It is drying perfectly so it can handle this amount of pouring medium from what I can tell.

I hope this helps. I don't really measure anymore. I used to but I tend to do better and my consistencies are better when I don't measure. I guess this comes from experimenting and using so many different paint brands. Knowing what brands are higher in pigment really helps.
