Описание: Long have we adventured out east, but finally it’s time to begin a new chapter. A southerly chapter! Welcome to the beginning of the short 2nd Texas Expedition, a road trip containing about 5 malls, some of which have never been covered on YT. Which is why I’m excited to bring them to you! The first is the West Ridge Mall in Topeka, Kansas. Tho it was never killed off by any other larger mall. But rather an over abundance(saturation) of retail for the west side of the city. These factors plus a dwindling anchor count, and the late 80s malls’ struggling and aging tenant lineup; gave me reason to believe it wasn’t long for this place. And I was proven right as during a sunny afternoon, there was hardly a soul in sight. Aside for the food court, which seems to be where the last holdout of tenants is bearing arms. The rest of the mall is utterly empty, and filled with remains of past eras. Join me today, as we explore and tell the story of Topekas, West Ridge Mall.
