The creator was stuck on this Chinese ROM because he couldn't downgrade (0:45-0:52, 11:57-12:01) and his bootloader was locked (0:56-1:00). He spent three days trying to unlock the bootloader (1:00-1:05), facing errors requiring permission from the MI community (1:50-2:02). He finally gained permission after logging into his MI account on two different phones and trying to unlock the bootloader simultaneously (2:25-2:55).

Although he received permission, he now has to wait 72 hours (3 days) before he can fully unlock the bootloader (2:05-2:07, 6:38-6:44, 7:31-7:38). Once unlocked, he plans to flash an Indian ROM onto his phone (7:40-7:43, 9:37-9:43). He also highlights that while the Chinese ROM made his phone smoother than Indian or global ROMs (8:00-8:06), the lack of Google services and the inability to use certain apps (like banking apps) due to the Chinese nature of the phone made the experience very frustrating (8:09-9:07). He also mentions that he tried to rename the ROM to revert to an Indian or global version, but it was not possible (5:37-5:48, 7:51-7:56).
