Muthalamada, the mango city of Kerala is another paradise in Palakkad. Muthalamada is also famous for its mangoes. From here mangoes are exported to other countries. It is mainly exported to Gulf countries. There are lot of mango farms here and besides that we can see a lot of mango trees in every house.
Mechiparamala is another beautiful place in Muthalamada. A small hill and a small temple on top of it. From there you can see a 360 view of Muthalamada.
Muthalamada station is another popular place where many films have been shot. It is a small scenic rural railway station with lot of banyan trees around.
At the end of the trip we visited a small dam near Kerala Tamilnadu border called Meenkara Dam. This video is my exploration of all these places in Muthalamada.
