The Leopard 2 Marksman is a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun (SPAAG) developed for the Finnish Army.

🇫🇮 Concept and Development

*Origins:* The system is a modified and combined system, combining the German-made Leopard 2A4 Main Battle Tank (MBT) chassis with the British-made Marksman turret (Marconi Electronic Systems).
*Purpose:* Finland previously used the Marksman turret mounted on an older T-55AM tank chassis. Because the T-55 Marksman system was unable to match the Leopard 2's maneuverability in the field, Finland decided to move the turret to the more modern and agile Leopard 2A4 chassis.
*Official Finnish Name:* This vehicle is known in Finland as the *Ilmatorjuntapanssarivaunu 90* or abbreviated **ItPsv 90 Leopard**.
