But here’s the truth: I didn’t move the needle like I could have. Not because life didn’t give me time—it did, in part—but I didn’t maximize the time that was left.

A migraine knocked out Tuesday. My daughter’s birthday took over Friday and Saturday (with good reason). That’s three days gone before I even got started. But the other days? I could’ve shown up stronger for myself. I didn’t.

Showing up for my kids comes naturally to me—it’s not the hard part. The hard part is realizing that when I don’t invest in me, I’m not as present, clear, or fulfilled in anything else either.

This video is a snapshot of what I did do. But it’s also a quiet reminder that I need to protect space for myself, too.

Because the ultimate form of medicine? Personal investment.
