The Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade is one of my all time favourite parades. It reminds me so much of the old Disneyland Paris Main Street Electrical Parade.
However times have changed and this one is so much better than the DLP one. There are over a million lights on display as float after float passes by each one more stunning than the previous one.
In Tokyo Disneyland all of the guests sit and watch the parade enabling everyone to see it in full. Its a much better way of viewing parades and for one like this it makes the whole thing so much more special.
We viewed the parade from discoveryland with the castle in the background. The standout floats for me are the Genie, the Cheshire Cat and the Pirate Ship, but the GOAT is Pete’s Dragon, the way Elliot looks takes me straight back to episodes of Disney Time and Bank Holiday Movies. What is your favourite float, we’d love to know.
