Tokyo Fashion Week kicked off with legendary Japanese rock star Yoshiki’s latest kimono collection on October 14, 2019.Yoshiki, drummer and co-founder of the heavy metal group X Japan, said he hopes to spread kimono culture throughout the world by working elements of music and animation into his versions of the traditional Japanese garment.
