The recall specifically affects the 2026 Hyundai Palisade Limited and the 2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy trims, which come standard with power folding rear seats. Approximately 60,515 vehicles in the United States and 7,967 in Canada are included in this recall. Hyundai is currently developing an over the air software update expected by the end of March 2026 as a temporary fix, and a permanent repair is in the works at no cost to owners.
