I reimagined Hey Ya with aggressive death metal vocals, heavy distorted guitars, powerful djent-style drums, and crushing bass, giving it a darker and heavier sound while keeping the original melody recognizable.

This is also a lyrics video metal cover, so you can follow along while enjoying the extreme metal adaptation.

My main influences for this cover come from classic 6/8 melodic death metal bands such as At The Gates, In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, and The Haunted, mixing old-school intensity with a modern metal production style.
