Business Class Product: ZIP Full-Flat Seat (18 seats)
As the name suggests, the Business Class product features a 180-degree reclining seat and a spaciously designed area with privacy in mind. The cover of each seat is made with genuine leather, allowing one to relax and enjoy the flight experience, while being equipped with reading lights and charging equipment.

"The Boeing 787-8 aircraft used by ZIPAIR was previously used by JAL, and the registration code for the first aircraft is “JA822J”. The aircraft that had been repainted with ZIPAIR arrived at Narita Airport in the early morning of October 27, and the aircraft that had been JAL specifications at the time of arrival was refurbished in about one and a half months."
"ZIP Full-Flat has 18 seats in 1-2-1 abreast. A so-called “herringbone” type layout is adopted in which the seats are arranged obliquely with respect to the traveling direction. It looks like a business class seat used on JAL's Boeing 777-200 aircraft, but the two seats in the center do not cross under their feet and are of different specifications.
　The seat is made of JAMCO, and as the name suggests, it can be made 180 degrees horizontally and fully flat. The cover is made of genuine leather and is close to the FSC (Full Service Carrier) business class, taking into account privacy such as partitioning with the left and right seats."

ZIPAIRが使用するボーイング 787-8型機は、以前にJALが使用していた機材で、初号機の登録記号は「JA822J」。ZIPAIR塗装へ塗り替えられた機体は10月27日早朝に成田空港に到着し、到着時点ではJAL仕様であった機内を、約1か月半をかけて改装した。
機内は、上級シートの「ZIP Full-Flat（ジップ・フルフラット）」、普通席の「Standard（スタンダード）」の2クラス仕様。計290席となる。
　ZIP Full-Flatは、1-2-1の4アブレストで18席を用意。進行方向に対して斜めに座席を配置する、いわゆる“ヘリンボーン”型のレイアウトを採用している。見た目にはJALのボーイング 777-200型機などで採用されているビジネスクラスシートに似ているが、中央の2席が足下で交差しておらず、別仕様のものとなる。
　シートはジャムコ製で、名前のとおり180度水平のフルフラット化が可能。カバーは本革仕様で、左右座席とのパーティションなどプライバシーにも配慮した、FSC（フルサービスキャリア）のビジネスクラスに近いシートとなっている。
　こうしたプレミアムシートを提供することについて西田氏は、「FSCではシートと食事、付帯サービスを含めてビジネスクラスのサービスとなるが、お客さまにシートの選択肢を提供するという発想。ダイヤを選び、次にシート、そしてお食事、お手荷物、と選択肢の積み重ねのなかの一環としてこのシートを選んだ」とコメント。
　加えて、「そうした選択肢として最適なのはフルフラットなのか、ライフラットなのか、プレミアムエコノミーのようなシートなのか、と議論したが、最大価値を提供できるのはフルフラット」と選択の利用を説明した。
