Multisensory learning style - I have used it for a few years now. To get the most out of my favorite books, I read them AND then listen to them in an audiobook format during my work commute. The more input our brain receives from more senses the more synaptic connections are formed in our brains. Also study in different locations to ensure that your brain does not subconsciously associate the subject with a certain environment. I now have a thinking desk free of technology where I read and re-read critical concepts of the subject I am trying to learn.
