I am 35 years old and occasionally I behave like a 2 year old… Sometimes in the fun, cute, adorable sense and others like a dreaded monster that won’t stop kicking and screaming! Only now kicking and screaming in public does not get rewards… Grrrrrr... So I have stashed it all away in the torment of my own mind. It’s not my fault. I blame it on my primitive brain that holds trauma from when I was a child.
We all have it. Come on Lucifer… I know you’re in there?!?!
We all have stored memories, emotions and thoughts from yesteryears… And it is not serving ourselves to carry them with us. Yet we do. WTF? Many people say “Don’t worry, ignore it, focus on the positive.” Yet retraining the mind and our emotions is not as simple as that. Those shrieking sounds, complaints, grudges and sorrows are your inner child calling out for love. They are not asking to be ignored. They want your attention. Your love. Your care.
