Hiking the White Mountains | Owl's Head Overnight | NH 48 4K

Описание: Took a hike up to Owl's Head in the White Mountains of New Hampshire this weekend. This mountain is the most remote of the NH 48 4ks at around an 18.5 mile hike. The trail itself is pretty easy going with the exception of 4 major water crossings. These crossings can be pretty dangerous depending on what time of year you go and how the weather has been. We lucked out with easy crossings. The last mile of the hike goes up a rock slide and is an adventure for sure.

Overall it was a great hike with lots of nice woods walking. Not sure I would go out of my way to do it again but definitely don't regret doing it at least once!
