We take a look at the all new 2024 Maserati GranTurismo Trofeo 75th Anniversary edition.

This is a car that originally came our for 2008 here in North America and lasted seemingly unchanged until 2019, when it finally went extinct. However, now for 2024 it's back, but not necessarily with a bang.

We lost that epic sounding cross plane crank engine shared with Ferrari. It has been neutered down to a twin turbo V6. Not only that, but for your huge price bump from the original they added 2 possibly unwanted drive wheels up front and a once timeless cabin now full of modern screens.

So we drive this still stunning vehicle to Port Stanley Ontario, a popular little beach town to test to see if it can still turn some heads. On the way we drive it where it is happiest, which is on some scenic windy backroads. We test the handling, acceleration, braking and end with our final thoughts on whether the 2024 GranTurismo has become fast and frivolous or stayed fast and furious like the original.
