One of the contemporary problems is that most industries work in silos. With Composites Lounge we broaden our view (360 Degree) and bring our members the latest trends on innovation, technology and sustainability on their LinkedIn feed.

Working in silos bring huge challenges and one can see its outcome in many places. Too high scrap rates are just one important example. Innovation is hindered and gets stuck. Support from governments are widely cancelled these days. If we do not innovate in a manner that creates technologies fostering sustainability this world will never be able to pay its dues to the next generation.

At HM 2024 we will meet project managers and managing directors in hall 4 to discuss the transformation that is required in renewable energies and hydrogen.

At Techtextil we will for example meet Nina Pirchmoser and Martin Hirschmann to discuss our panel on Batteries on their M2N Media GmbH
summit in Hamburg this June. Since I exhibited 10 times at TechTextil already, it will be great to meet also my textile network again and catch up on urgent matters, like sustainability.

Finally on Friday I will touch down in Munich at sensXPERT - Optimizing Plastics Manufacturing. While HM is all about manufacturing technologies, TT on rawmaterials this meeting with sensXPERT will provide you with insides from a deeptech company. Without AI our processes will be unpredictable. Machine Learning is entering strongly the world of advanced material and component manufacturing.

Subsequently, with Cornelia Beyer and Dr. Alexander Chaloupka we will demonstrate you what modern sensor techniques are capable of.
