Shaking down my turbocharged 2001 NB Miata at Blackhawk Farms Raceway. First time driving this track — this was the 4th session of the day, running about 6/10ths to get a feel for the car and the layout.
At the end of the session, the main relay combusted (lesson learned!). This winter I’ll be rewiring the aftermarket fuel pump and sensors to their own Bosch relay power circuits for reliability.
Running 12–13 psi on a Garrett 2560R turbo, tuned on a Megasquirt MS3Pro — making around 260 whp.
