Marathon Day.🥇🏃♀️
After months of marathon training, it all came down to one race. The Athens Marathon. On the historic course where the marathon was born.
This video is split into two parts.
-In the first part, you’ll see race day footage from the Athens Marathon, the atmosphere, the struggle, the emotion, and what it’s really like running 42.2km on this legendary course as a vegan endurance athlete🌱🏃♂️.
-In the second part, I sit down and reflect on the entire race experience and marathon training block, namely what went right, what went wrong, what I learned, and how this marathon changed me both physically💪and mentally 🧠.
At the end of the video, I also share my future plans, what’s next after this marathon, and where my running journey is heading from here.
