This face may be looking sad today, but Pradeep Jain Aditya, who was a minister in the UPA government and was once counted among the top leaders of Bundelkhand, has been sentenced to two and a half years by the court. And this sentence was not given for a heinous crime but in a case that will surprise you too.

Today we will talk about Pradeep Jain Aditya, who became an MP from Jhansi Lok Sabha in 2009 and was also an MLA. But during his tenure as MP and Union Minister of State, a case was registered in 2013 during the Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh in which Pradeep Jain Aditya along with 12 other people were sentenced to two and a half years.

Actually this entire matter is of 11 June 2013 when he had taken permission for a conference in Parichha village of Jhansi. After the conference was over, he protested demanding to stop power cuts and blocked the Jhansi-Kanpur highway. Pradeep Jain demanded that electricity is supplied to the entire Uttar Pradesh from the Pariksha Thermal Power Plant but the local residents have to bear the brunt of dust and pollution. This protest lasted for about 6 hours. After this incident, a case was registered in the Baragaon police station.
This FIR was registered by the then SO Hakim Singh Yadav. He wrote in the FIR that many people including Virendra Singh Block Pramukh Babina were present with Pradeep Jain Aditya. When the police stopped them, they clearly said, if our demands are not met, the national highway will be completely jammed. Not a single vehicle will run.

Due to this, long queues of vehicles were formed on both sides of the highway and traffic came to a complete standstill. The police registered a case against 15 people in this case. Later, a charge sheet was filed in the court against 14 people. One of these accused was found to be a minor. The remaining 13 people were sentenced.

Assistant Prosecution Officer Ravi Jaiswal said that Pradeep Jain and his supporters have been acquitted under Section 504 and 188 of IPC, but have been convicted under the remaining 6 sections. In 2013, there was a SP government in the state and Pradeep Jain was a minister of state in the Congress government at the Centre.
But the sentence was pronounced in this case at 7 pm. After this, disappointment spread on the faces of Congressmen. However, after being released on bail, all the accused came out of the court. As soon as he came out, the former Union Minister became emotional and tears flowed from his eyes.
