50 MERMAIDS!!! Group Swim at the California Mermaid Convention - VLOG 3

I am so excited to share this video, my experience attending the group swim at the California Mermaid Convention!
The group swim had to be one of my favorite events from the weekend, with easily over 50 mermaids in attendance, this is the BIGGEST mermaid meetup I have ever been to!
Before this weekend, I had only met one mermaid in person before. And this convention opened up a whole new world to me.
(not a pun, wrong Disney movie)

At the convention we checked in my silicone tail, explored the vendors and all their sparkles. Attended a lecture hosted by Robert Short, creator of the "Splash!" mermaid tail. I got a sun-protective swimsuit from Slipn Surf Skins.

When it was time to transform and get in the pool, I totally did it with the least amount of grace I possibly good. Thank God I had my Merbabe Sydney there to help me! Special thanks and acknowledgment to her. She was so willing to be dragged through the mermaid madness (considering she isn't a mermaid at all!)

The group swim had mermaids of all makes, colors, tails. There is such a wide variety of mermaids (and mermen!). I am going to try and name as many of the mermaids I see in this video, using their instagram names. This won't be everybody, so if you see someone, please comment below!
