This is always one of our smaller turnouts but this year at Cafe Maxx we have sold out almost every event that we have put on the calendar and even the Austrian German tasting had over 20 tasters!!
Most wine lovers do not realize that these two countries are among the most serious wine producers on the planet. At one time German wines were the most expensive and sought after wines, it was not too long ago just before the first World War. Austria is still one of the most expensive places in the world if you look at the average bottle price it could very well be the most expensive place in the world bottle for bottle!
For this event we focused on the entry level of quality for most of these wines.
