In this video, which is part 1 in a series of videos on making fire, I will be exploring some of the Natural Tinders found in the East of England. I will show you how I use Birch bark, fatwood, Cramp Ball fungus, Thistle seed heads and Dried Bracken to make flame from sparks. These are just some of the methods I use, utilising some of the natural resources found in my corner of the country. In the next episode I will be looking at some man-made and processed tinders available.
