Victoria’s fifth lockdown has shut down ski season in the midst of the Alpine region’s busiest period.
Recent snowfall has injected a glimmer of hope but the lockdown has come in the midst of the busiest period.
Before the lockdown, resorts were busy with bookings but now operators are processing refunds and trying to take bookings where they can.
Many are still trying to recoup costs from Victoria’s long lockdown last year which went for most of the season.
