📜 SHORT SYNOPSIS (The Elevator Pitch)
Kael, a city photographer seeking escape, gets stranded on Isla Bato, a mysterious island shrouded in folklore. He falls for Rosa, a beautiful but sickly local woman. Their romance turns into a nightmare when Kael discovers the island’s dark secret: Rosa is transitioning into an Aswang (a flesh-eating shapeshifter), and her father, the clan leader Tang Gimo, intends for Kael to be her first kill. Armed only with ancient rituals and a Red Thread of Fate, Kael must protect Rosa from her own hunger. But when the curse becomes unbreakable, Rosa makes the ultimate sacrifice—burning herself to ash to save Kael—forcing him to seek a miraculous resurrection in the island’s mystical waters.
