In continuing my test of DeepSeek’s story writing ability I entered the following prompt yesterday on January 25th 2025. With no more prompting than you see here, a satisfactory story was generated. In a nutshell in my estimation and experience I judge DeepSeek to be better in this regard than ChatGPT. While ChatGPT has generated stories for me with no problem its ability to maintain continuity of the story has been very spotty. I will do further testing of DeepSeek along these lines and post another story here in a few days. Stay Tuned!

MY PROMPT TO DEEPSEEK:

“Still testing your capabilities. Please write me a science fiction story where while meditating a 67 year old man accidentally gets sucked into some kind of inter dimensional portal and begins an adventure beyond his wildest dreams. Please write this book in 3 parts and stop after every part. Please make each part approximately 3,000 words. Make it serious and romantic and adventurous and thought provoking and even funny at times.”
