Описание: In a major crackdown, Gurugram Police have detained 10 illegal Bangladeshi immigrants during a joint operation with the Immigration Department. Bangladeshi IDs and documents were recovered, and deportation proceedings are underway.

The drive has caused panic in Sector 49’s Bengali Market, once home to over 5,000 people. The colony now appears largely deserted, as hundreds of families have fled fearing police action.

Police sources say over 200 Bengali-speaking individuals have been questioned. So far, 11 have been identified as Bangladeshi nationals, while others remain under verification.
