Another hot summer day in Virginia, this time at the American History Museum at Yorktown. They had many exhibits describing the origins of the town and our country in great detail. Examples and artifacts from the early american era were plentiful with ample information describing the importance of the artifacts on display. There was also a recreation of en encampment with firearm demonstrations as well as actual campsites so you can see what the conditions were like. This was a great museum with plenty to learn from and really makes you appreciate where we are today. Also, don't miss the great film they run in their theater called "Liberty Fever", it's awesome!
