This workshop was the first in a series by Dr Mary Dahm as part of her Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA), held in collaboration with Health Care Consumers' Association of the ACT (HCCA).

Find out about the research and grant application landscape in Australia and gain an understanding of commonly used terms in research such as qualitative and quantitative evidence. Learn about the various roles of health consumers in research. We will explore and validate your own expertise, what you can contribute to research projects. Learn how to get involved in research and about best practices researchers should follow when involving consumers in research.
This workshop is a must for any health consumer seeking to expand their knowledge and skills in research.
