This video is full of tips on how to give a plain dresser a rustic country worn out look. You can learn how to layer the different chalk paint colors, how to color wash with chalk paint and how to use the decorative waxes to achieve this old authentic look when you are doing a furniture makeover.
The paint I have used:
the base color is a gray chalk paint
the light paint which I also use as a wash: the original white + arles + adding a drop of honfleur + a drop of barcelona orange + a drop of coco, all are chalk paint by Annie Sloan
black chalk paint by Annie Sloan
aubusson blue chalk paint by Annie Sloan
honfluer chalk paint by Annie Sloan to create some rust
antique giding wax
clear wax by Annie Sloan
black wax by Annie Sloan
